QUINTESSENTIAL (hereinafter referred to as “QUINTESSENTIAL”) website(s) (hereinafter referred to as our “Site” or “Sites”) and related services are made accessible to you according to the following Terms of Use & Service and any other rules posted on our Sites (collectively, the “T&C”). Please carefully read the T&C before placing any orders on . We recommend you to keep a copy of the T&C for your future reference.

We would like to draw your attention to our policies in relation to the terms of purchase within the T&C and our Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of 16 you must let your parent or guardian know about QUINTESSENTIAL Privacy Policy before you register to use this Site or any of its services. We reserve the right to accept orders only from those over 18 years of age.

We may from time to time modify the T&C. Please read the T&C carefully and often check them again. If you do not agree to any change to the T&C then you must stop using the Site immediately. Any changes that were made after you have placed an order will not affect that order unless the change was required by law.


To use some of the features or services available to you on this Site you will have to register. When registering, you are required to provide information about yourself that is accurate, true, up to date and in all respects complete. The account password you select should be unique and secure, and you must notify QUINTESSENTIAL immediately if you notice any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Eligibility to Purchase

In order to make purchases on the Site you will have to provide your personal details. Specifically, you must provide your real name, phone number, e-mail address and other necessary information as required. Furthermore, you will be asked to provide confirmed payment details that are both valid and correct and you certify that you are the person referred to in the Billing information.

By making an offer to purchase merchandise you expressly authorize us to perform credit checks and whenever QUINTESSENTIAL feels necessary to transmit or obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or third parties, including but not limited to your credit/debit card number or credit reports (including credit reports for your spouse if you reside in a joint property jurisdiction), to check your identity, to validate your credit/debit card, to obtain an initial credit/debit card authorization and to authorize individual purchase transactions.

Moreover, you agree that we may use Personal Information provided by you in order to conduct anti-fraud checks. The Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of the mentioned information.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability; items in your shopping basket are not booked and may be purchased by another customer.

QUINTESSENTIAL offers products for sale that are in stock and available in our distribution centre. However, sometimes we may be expecting shipments from our suppliers. Consequently, you may sometimes be given the possibility of making an Advance Payment for certain items which will enable you to make an Advance Purchase. This will make sure that you receive this item in priority once the stock is delivered to QUINTESSENTIAL. QUINTESSENTIAL will only take Advance Purchase orders for stock that has been already scheduled for delivery by a supplier. Your rights concerning the Advance Purchase are identical to those for any other purchase at QUINTESSENTIAL. Alternatively, you may simply register your email address for an arrival notification for a selected merchandise that was not in stock.

Items received in stock may be pre-allocated to satisfy Advance Payment orders and customers that made Advance Payments will have the priority in receiving the items compared to customers on the Waiting List or customers ordering immediate delivery through the Site. Please be aware that we may not be able to deliver some Advance Payment merchandise due to production and/or quality check issues identified when receiving an order into stock. In such circumstances, we will notify you by email and refund the Advance Payment to your credit/debit card within 30 (thirty) days of being informed that the merchandise became unavailable.

If you registered your email address for notifications on the arrival of a specific product featured on our Site, we will try to notify you by email within 48 hours of the product becoming available on our Site. Please note that sometimes certain products that are in particularly high demand could sell out during this period.

QUINTESSENTIAL will keep a your transactions record for minimum one year.

Pricing Policy

Prices shown on the Site are in GBP and include VAT at the applicable rate unless you have selected an alternative country where VAT is not applicable.

All prices and offers remain valid as advertised. The GBP price of a product displayed on the Site at the time of the acceptance of the order will be honoured, except in patent error cases.

Product prices are defined at the beginning of each season using existing rates of currency exchange. These prices are subject to change if the applicable currency exchange rates change before your order is accepted or if the items are subject to markdowns at any time during the sale period. Customers purchasing from a country served as DDP will have the relevant import duties and taxes applied. These costs are included in the final purchase price. Customers purchasing from a country served as DDU will only be charged for the items they purchased and shipping costs. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced directly by FedEx or an import broker of your choice. We recommend to contact your local customs authority to quote a landed cost price prior to completing of the purchase. If your credit/debit card is not Sterling-denominated, the final price will be calculated based on the applicable exchange rate on the day when the transaction was processed by your card issuer.

Acceptance of Your Order

Once you made your choice of merchandise and placed the order, we will send you an email confirming your order details. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation of the order input.

We reserve the right not to accept your order if, for example, we are unable to receive a payment authorization, or if there are shipping restrictions applying to a particular item, if the item you ordered is out of stock or does not comply with our quality control standards and is withdrawn; or if you don’t meet the eligibility criteria set out within the T&C.

We may also refuse to process and/or accept a transaction for any reason or refuse servicing anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party based on the reason of withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold; for the reasons of removal, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site, refusal to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has started.


We accept Visa, MasterCard and any other methods which may be advertised clearly on the Site from time to time. Once the transaction is complete, you will then return to QUINTESSENTIAL Site. The payment will be debited and cleared from your account immediately by QUINTESSENTIAL . You confirm that the credit/debit card being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to checks and authorization by the issuer of the card. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize the payment to QUINTESSENTIAL, we cannot be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

We do take reasonable steps to make our Site secure. All credit/debit card transactions on this Site are being processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. If you are a registered user of QUINTESSENTIAL, we will securely store your credit/ debit card details in our systems. These details will be fully encrypted and only used to process card transactions initiated by you.

To ensure that your shopping experience is secure and simple, QUINTESSENTIAL uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Furthermore, we take reasonable care, in so far as it lies in our power to do so, to keep your order and payment details secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held responsible for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data provided by you when accessing or placing an order from the Site.

Promotion Codes

Promotion codes cannot be transferable and there is no cash alternative. Furthermore, they cannot be used together with any other promotion code or offers, and must be redeemed by the date indicated, if provided.

Insurance and Delivery

QUINTESSENTIAL insures each purchase during the time of its transit until its delivery to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any merchandise delivered, at which time the responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have indicated a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is considered evidence of delivery and fulfilment by QUINTESSENTIAL, and the responsibility transfer in the same manner.

Kindly note that we aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used only as a guide and start from the date of dispatch. QUINTESSENTIAL is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs processes of clearance.

Returns & Exchanges


If you are based in the EU under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (ICACRs), you have the right to cancel your order with us provided you give us notice in writing.

Right to Cancel under the ICACRs

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without providing any reason.

The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day after the day of acquisition by you (or a third party other than a carrier and indicated by you) of the physical possession of the last items of the order.

For orders cancelled under the ICACRs, we will provide you with a full refund including the shipping cost you paid. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement amount for loss in value of any goods supplied, if such loss was the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
(i) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any of the supplied goods; or
(ii)(if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide us with evidence that the merchandise have been returned; or
(iii) if no goods were supplied, 14 days after the day on which we were informed about the cancellation.

We will make the reimbursement using the same payment methods used by you for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

In the event that we have sent the merchandise to you and you have cancelled your order, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest. [If we do not receive the goods from the cancelled order back, we may arrange to have it collected from you at your cost.

You should return the cancelled orders to: QUB EVENTS, Gills Ln, Rooks Bridge BS26 2TY, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from day on which your cancellation of the contract was communicated to us. The deadline is met if you send the merchandise before the period of 14 days expires.

You will have to bear the cost of returning the merchandise.

You are only liable for any reduced value of the goods resulting from the handling, other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Please note you may only use your right to cancel the order under the ICACRs if you give us a formal written notice of cancellation any time after your order has been placed, up until 14 calendar days from the day after receipt of your order, by email or post as described above, i.e. before requesting your RMA through your QUINTESSENTIAL account.


As an alternative to using your rights under the ICACRs, you may choose to return or exchange the items. You must inform us of your intention to return within 14 days of receipt, for a refund of the value of the items only, or an exchange for the same items, based on availability in stock. If you wish to exchange the item for an alternative merchandise, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and buy the new item separately.

Shipping is complimentary on the replacement item, but exchanges made to destinations outside of the UK will be subject for customs clearance and therefore any relevant import duty and taxes will apply.

Our Policy

The merchandise should be returned unused and with all QUINTESSENTIAL tags attached. Returns that are damaged may not be accepted and may be sent back to the client and/or a refund may be refused.

Where provided, packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and/or leather tags should be included in the return.

Faulty goods

Products are faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs, within six months from the date of purchase. Goods that were damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

If you want to exchange a faulty item instead of getting a refund, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair the faulty goods. If it can’t be repaired or the same item is not available, you will be entitled to a full refund.


We have made every effort to accurately display the colours of our products that appear on the QUINTESSENTIAL Site. However, as computer monitors differ, we cannot guarantee that the display of any colour on your monitor will be completely accurate.


We offer a flexible return policy to make your online shopping experience easy and pleasant. However, we do monitor the number of returns provided and may refuse to accept orders at our discretion if merchandise is returned repeatedly.

Intellectual Property Rights

Your use of the Site and its contents does not grant any rights to you in relation to any copyright, designs, trademarks and all other intellectual property and material rights related to the Content (as set out in the Content section below), including QUINTESSENTIAL Software and all HTML and other codes contained in this Site. All such Content, including third party trademarks, designs, and related intellectual property rights mentioned or displayed on this Site are protected by national intellectual property and other laws and international treaty provisions. You are permitted to use the Site Content only as expressly authorized by QUINTESSENTIAL and/or the third party licensors. Any reproduction or redistribution of the above listed Content is forbidden and may result in criminal and civil penalties. Without limiting the aforementioned, copying and using of the above listed materials to any other server, location or support for publication, distribution or reproduction is explicitly prohibited. However, you are allowed to make one copy for the purposes of viewing the Content for your own personal use.


Additionally to the Intellectual property rights mentioned above, “Content” is determined as any graphics, photographs, including all image rights, sounds, music, video, audio or text on this Site. QUINTESSENTIAL tries to make sure that the information on this site is correct and complete. QUINTESSENTIAL does not promise that QUINTESSENTIAL’ Content is precise or error-free. QUINTESSENTIAL does not promise that the functional features of the Site or QUINTESSENTIAL’ Content will be error free or that this Site, QUINTESSENTIAL Content or the server that makes it accessible are free of viruses or other harmful components. We always recommend that all Internet users make sure they have up to date virus-checking software installed.

No Commercial Use

This Site is for your personal non-commercial usage only. You must not modify, distribute, copy, transfer, display, perform, duplicate, publish, license, commercially utilize, generate derivative works from, transmit, data mine or sell any Content, software, merchandise, or services contained within this Site. You must not use this Site or any of its Content, to further any commercial enterprise, including any advertising or advertising profit generation activity on your own site.

Your Activity

You agree that you will be held personally responsible for your use of this Site and for all your communication and activity on and pursuant to this Site. If we establish that you are or have been engaged in forbidden activities, were not respectful of other users, or otherwise violated the T&C, we may refuse you access to this Site on a temporary or permanent basis.

Third Party Sites

We may include hyperlinks on this Site to other websites or resources run by parties other than QUINTESSENTIAL, including advertisers. QUINTESSENTIAL has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Web Site and is not responsible for the content or correctness of any off-site pages nor are we responsible for the availability of such external websites or resources, and do not endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for the privacy practices or the content of such websites, including (but not limited to) any advertising, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the usage of or dependance on any such content, products or services available on such external websites or resources.

Your Rights

You have certain rights under the law. In England these include:
1. That any goods you order through this Site will be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and will match any description given on this Site;
2. Certain remedies if a product is defective; and
3. A right to cancel any order for a product within 14 days of the date of receipt of the goods and get a full refund even if it is not defective (see Cancelling your order above).
Nothing in the T&C is meant to affect these rights. For more information about your rights please contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Bureau.

Limits on our Liability

We accept the liability for death and/or personal injury arising from our negligence, or that of our employees and agents. We do not pursue to exclude our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation by us or our employees or agents.

Nothing in the T&C is meant to affect your rights under the law (see “Your Rights” above). If QUINTESSENTIAL breaches the T&C we shall only be liable for losses which are direct and a reasonably foreseeable result of such a breach. Losses are foreseeable where, for instance, they could be contemplated by you and QUINTESSENTIAL at the time of you placing the order, and QUINTESSENTIAL dispatching your order. We shall only be liable for losses of up to 130% of the total value of merchandise purchased.

We are not responsible for losses not caused by our breach or negligence, indirect losses which are a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not reasonably predictable by you and us (for instance, loss of profits or loss of opportunity).

We are also not responsible for failure to meet any of our obligations under the T&C where such failure is due to events outside our reasonable control.


At our request, you agree to compensate us fully, defend us, and hold us QUINTESSENTIAL harmless immediately on demand, its officers, directors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and suppliers, from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, losses and damages, including legal fees, resulting from any breach of the T&C by you, including the use by any other persons accessing this Site using your Internet account caused by your action or inaction.

Our Relationship

You acknowledge and agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and QUINTESSENTIAL as a result of the T&C or your usage of this Site. You agree that you must not and will not claim to be a representative, agent, or employee of QUINTESSENTIAL, and we shall not be liable for any representation, act, or omission on your part.

No Waiver

If you breach the T&C and we take no action against you, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other circumstance where you breach the T&C.

Complaints and Governing Law

If you have a complaint about us please email providing full details, including the date of purchase and the order reference number, where applicable, and your full name, address and contact details. The T&C together with all our policies and procedures will be governed by and construed in accordance with the English law, and the relevant courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Returns and Exchanges

We hope you are happy with your order, but if for any reason you are not fully satisfied, we will provide you with an exchange or a refund according to your receipt. In order to arrange a return of your products, kindly contact us within 14 days from the delivery date.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Please note that if a product was used or opened, we cannot proceed with the return, refund or exchange unless the product is faulty.

Damaged Items

Kindly inspect the parcel on arrival for any severe damage that may have happened during shipment. It is usual for the shipping carton to show some degree of wear, however, if any damage has occured to your item(s), please contact QUINTESSENTIAL at

Kindly email us with the date of the order, your name, email address and phone number. It is very important that you retain the shipping box, packing material and the items that were damaged for further inspection by the carrier company.
